App Home Dashboard

Your personal dashboard in Slack's sidebar — see all tasks, stats, and streaks at a glance.

Click on Tickr in your Slack sidebar to open your personal App Home tab. This is your dashboard for everything across all channels.

Stats header

The top of your App Home shows four at-a-glance metrics:

StatDescription
Active tasksTotal tasks assigned to you that aren't done
OverdueTasks past their due date
Completed this monthTasks you finished in the current calendar month
StreakConsecutive days you've posted task updates

Task sections

Your tasks are grouped into five sections, each capped to prevent clutter:

SectionMax shownWhat's included
Overdue10Tasks past due date, not done
In Progress10Tasks you're actively working on
Open10Tasks assigned but not started
Blocked5Tasks waiting on a dependency
Recently Completed5Tasks you finished recently

Each task shows:

  • Status emoji and title
  • Priority indicator (for high and critical)
  • Channel link (so you know which board it's on)
  • Due date (if set)
  • Last update time
  • Update and Complete buttons (for active tasks)

💡 More tasks?

If more tasks exist than the section cap, a hint tells you to use /tickr mine for the full list.

Task actions from App Home

You can manage tasks directly from the App Home without switching to a channel:

  • Update button — opens the same update modal as the task card (note + status)
  • Complete button — one-click completion

Changes made from App Home are reflected in the relevant channel and board canvas.

Subscription status

The bottom of the Home tab shows your workspace's current plan:

TrialDays remaining countdown (e.g., "8 days left on your trial")
Pro / MaxCurrent plan badge
ExpiredUpgrade prompt with pricing info

See Plans & Pricing for feature details.
